We provide BS-AC members with significant discounts on our products.
We provide a complete solution to the BS-AC organisation from placing
and dealing with their claims on their Block Liability policy to the
sophisticated range of personal lines products we offer their
members.
We are currently innovating new products in conjunction with the "Insurance Group" within the BS-AC Organisation to provide
BS-AC divers
with the very best rates and securities for "Life" and "Critical
illness" and "Long Term Disability" insurance.
We are major supporters of the BS-AC by direct and indirect
sponsorship
both of events and services; I am sure those that are aware
of our input
at BS-AC HQ would vouch for that.
So we are the "best value" for money that the BS-AC could have from an
insurance provider.
A list of our achievements:
We were first to introduce a world wide diving injury insurance "that
included private treatment costs in the UK and after
returning to the UK
from abroad". Other's "Dive Travel Insurance" still does not
offer this
benefit.
We were the first to introduce a specially adapted "Travel Insurance"
that paid for "cancellation" as a result of being "unfit to dive" rather
than "unfit to travel".
We were the first to provide significant levels of insurance
benefit for
carrying dive equipment as baggage on Dive Trips in our Travel
Insurance.
We were the first to provide "loss of diving days" as a
result of being
medically unfit to dive.
In our dive Equipment Insurance we were the first to provide cover for "unexplained flooding" of underwater cameras and videos.
On our boat policies we were the first to include "the
carriage and use
of Therapeutic Oxygen" and most importantly for "hitting and
injuring a
diver in the water".
Since the start of innovating our policies in 1987, many
companies have
imitated us, however none can provide the Dive Master
response and that
is second to none................
We also provide sponsorship and support for:
Research projects into diving via donations to DDRC since 1987, major
sponsorship of "Men and Women in Diving" Survey.
"The Disabled and Diving" Survey.
Individual research projects, including sending delegates to scientific seminars into "When is it safe to fly after Hyperbaric treatment".
Marine Mammal Research: Sponsor of "Seals and Fishery Interactions, problems solutions and recommendations" By Dr. Sue Wilson (British Divers Marine Life Rescue) financial support and donations to BDMLR since 1994.
SITA (Scuba Industries Trade Association) sponsors of publications of "Breathing Air Compressor" Group, and "The Safe Production of Oxygen Enriched Air".
Dive Master has demonstrated it's commitment to providing first class products and providing financial and moral support for the recreational diving community and industries.
The fact is that we do more for advancing understanding in these areas by way of our financial support than most insurers and that includes those that suggest they are engaged in full time research!
